2016.09.30 managed a couple of short runs between the clouds.

A lovely morning while I was at work, turned into a rather cloudy afternoon when I got home. Some large blue gaps encouraged me to set up, despite the dark clouds!

The usual set up Lunt50mm D/S, DMK21au618, stacked in A/S2 sharpened in ImPPG, finished in C/S2.

A 2 pane mosaic, plus a couple of close ups of the filaments. The seeing was ok despite the wind.

That full disk filament is uncanny. Looks like the sun is winking at us. Great shot!
