September 25th - H Alpha - Nice Prominences

Some very nice prominences on the E and the W limbs, the best group being on the E limb.  One of the prominences on the W limb forming a filaprom.   Interesting disk detail with numerous smaller filaments, the largest filament being in the S.

Single frames with Lunt 60 DS and Olympus E-M10 at 500 asa.  Both images are versions of the same frame, the second processed to show the position of the prominences.  Taken at 2.57 pm on 1/100 sec.
