cotterless45
Woke up half asleep, what a beautiful sky ! Orion, Lepus, Monoceros over to a full Gemini and the lonely Procyon. Under Ursa Major in the north , a peep of Leo's sickle. So looking forward to these feasts . Great things here, always remember Calvin rushing over , " I found Harid's dragon and its faaaantastic !" clear skies ! Nick.
FenlandPaul
Lovely - exciting times ahead. I popped out for an early morning cycle and was seen off by Orion and Sirius, which gave me a lot of pleasure!! Nice sunrise to come back to as well. Humid out there today. Yamez
I set my alarm for 3:30am as i knew it would be clear just for Orion, images are currently stacking in DSS right now. It was lovely to see the autumn/winter constellations.

iPeace
Stayed out all night, manning my temporary Aegean balcony observatory. And indeed, five-ish found the Pleiades overhead, the Hunter facing the Bull and his Dog in pursuit of the Hare. First ever full view of Lepus and Canis Major. Just managed to make out M79 (15x50 bins, mind you) and got a really nice view of M41. Orion's belt and sword were of course a great show, until the blue marble's rotation finally caused even Sirius to disappear in the light of the one star we call our own. Great night. Stu
Indeed Nick, good times are on their way. I caught M45, Taurus and Auriga showing themselves over the hedge the other night, not even that late so Orion is not far away.
Paz
A couple of nights ago I went downstairs in the early hours and noticed Orion and Sirius out of a window. A great sight.
