fast satellites?

Seen a fast satellite the other night ( 1+week ago) speed 

; as fast as about 1/3-1/4 of a shooting star(meteorite)  ... wondered what it was??

3 nights ago 7-1-16, iridium flare about as bright as 2X+ the ISS ( or 4 X the brightes night star) - traveling SE thru the Big Dippers mid handle, 18 sec intervals...Very Impressive!!

Hi DesertWatch and welcome to SGL, If you sit and watch a clear dark sky for a couple of hours, you should see quite a few points of light, moving against the dark background, some brightening very quickly ( iridium flare ) before they fade, enjoy the forum
