Significant progress!

Here it is - the first post from my Observatory (Ok, I have to watch I don't trip over the trailing ethernet cable, but that'll be sorted soon!).

Just as well I've got something to do as the clouds have rolled in Hopefully just passing....

Still misty cloud, but giving it a go anyway

This is a quick and dirty process in the Obs (still gathering more subs). I need a better monitor, so I expect this is awful...

ZS66 on NS8, 6.3 FR, Ha filter, Atik 16ic mono, 13 from 17 60s subs

- stacked in DSS and lightly processed in Elements - I need to get all the extra tools (Noel, curves etc) loaded on this machine

Going to try 2 min subs later (never been able to do that before )

Without doubt Helen, you are now 'reaping the fruits of of your labours'.

The obs adds a whole new dimension to the enjoyment of the hobby.

Now with the internet available in the obs, you can enjoy the forum while waiting for the subs, to come in.
