Moon, Saturn, (and maybe) Jupiter for images. A few most double stars on my "100 easy ones list".

Most of all I'm hoping to still be awake when the Globs roll around about 4 ish, they're my favorites but I've not really got stuck into them yet this year.

Clear skies BUT The seeing is soooooooo Bad i can't see the cassini division in saturns rings with a 10" SCT  BEEPING AWFUL SEEING :p:D:lol::p

jAMES :sunny:

Not too bad here James, Saturns holding out at x250. The Cassini isn't a problem, hope I don't jinx it!!

EDIT: "isn't" a problem! :(

For a quick check, look down the tube standing at a distance that shows several 'donut' rings (about 10-12' away). If they look concentric, its close enough for regular observing.

If you'd like to try collimating using an artificial star, I can loan you one (in exchange for a review ).

How did you get on Gaz?

I had a quick go between 9 and 10:30 and managed a quick Saturn AVI which I've not yet processed.

According to the forecasts, I've had my clear sky quota for Feb, so I'll pack it all away again!!!!
