Iss Transit Finder

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I created a web app which predicts the times and locations of upcoming ISS transits across the disk of the Moon and Sun. I tried to make it very easy to use, the entire setup and calculation takes literally less than 10 seconds.

The website got a lot of positive response in local forums and even some non-astronomically themed sites so I thought I'd share it here as well. Check it out :)

What coordinate format did you use ? I've just tried it using decimal format coordinates with no problem.

ps the OP  hasn't visited SGL since May 2016 so might not get a reply from him.

Hi ..

I entered my decimal coordinates as follows ....

Lat: N 53.10611

Long: +1.0333

Am I missing something here?

The coordinates don't need a "N" or + in the numbers. North is a positive number and West is negative not positive.

Enter 53.10611, -1.0333
