Hi Doug you have achieved a really well balanced image there. It looks so natural. I hope to achieve something similar.

I'm coming back to AP soon I will be using a AA RC6 for the up close and personal effect with galaxies.

Very nicely handled transition between the notoriously bright core and the much fainter spirals. This is pretty hard to do! You also have Holmerg IX showing well and it will only get better with more data...

And thanks Olly, I wondered what that blue smudge was when I processed mine and now I got a name for it. Since it was discovered by and named after a Swede, I will make sure to try to preserve it next time I process M81.
