skywatcher 200p owners

Hi guys , could someone please measure the length of the 200p in inches, my brain doesn't like sillymeters and let me know ,trying to make a dobsonian mount for one . Thanks in advance. .John.

Mine is 36 1/2 inches please note it's not the skyliner

My 200p is f5 and my dob base is about 50cm high and the bearings are 11cm diameter.

Seems to work if I want to use it seated at a low footstool height.

I made a base for a 150p I got on AstroBoot. I got the measurements for the base by getting a copy of the Skywatcher manual - I think from the Skywatcher web site but Google should find it... [emoji3]

A Bargain Dob project for someone?

So I've used this for the first time properly last night (well, this morning ) and everything works brill! I may mess with the az a bit though cos it ain't that smooth - I guess I may have to go for a lazy Susan bearing at some point - or a fully rethought mk2...
