Got up this morning to take on Jupiter. Better result than two weeks ago.

Seeing might have been somewhat better but the fact that we're closing in is definately playing it's part too.

Thanks, yes according to stellarium it is Io and Ganymede in that position at that time. GMT 4.42 AM Dec 26.
