Solar activity for the 20th May + faint prom

Here's today's solar activity summary. There was a faint detached prominence visible on the south-western limb. Needed the camera to be set high to see it though.

Still no Sunspots to look at....

As usual wonderful picture Pete. I viewed the Sun this morning both with the PST and my WO SD66 with a thousand oaks filter. If I increased the magnification to 77 on the WO with my 5mm Hyperion (using star diagonal) I could detect a very very small sunspot at 270 degrees - which I assume corresponds to the bright object on Pete's photo shown at 240 degrees.

Sorry but I typed the wrong degree location for the sunspot. On a normal clock face the sunspot was located at 40 minutes past the hour - 240 degrees - using a star diagonal.
