1 second before the disappearance of Aldebaran 29 october 15

Hello

Despite the death of my hard disk and with almost all my films especially the last untreated, I had treated for an initial idea the last second of the disappearance of Aldebaran behind the Moon.

7 minutes before I had read a post on the subject, and I rushed to open the shelter, which allowed me to just make the final 10 seconds before the disappearance.

Very strong turbulence for this image without collimating or setting temperature. The next second she was gone.

Very nicely caught.  I understand there's quite an interest in capturing occultation data.  I wasn't previously aware of that.

Good job you were quick on your feet! I got one of the Moon and Aldebaran in early September with my DSLR and Evo 80ED, but had much more time to prepare!
