I also bought the Revelation 30mm at Astrofest, except that when I opened the box ... it was a 26mm. I will try it before deciding whether to change it and post a report.

Pretty much Steve, depends on how much it bothers you obviously. For 60 quid its a good deal IMHO.

Daz, your Revelation 30mm has a 70 degree FOV, the Moonfish they are discussing has 80 degrees. They are not the same.

Just out of interest if I x2 Barlowed this eyepiece would it remove the edge of field murkiness on my F5 Newtonian?
