Megalot
HiI've just about convinced my self to get a Skywatcher EQ5 Pro go to mount with syncscan. Would I need another polariscope or will the one that I have for my current EQ2-3 mount be suitable. On another topic completely, is there any software that I can use with my macbook pro to guide the scope or is that yet another level. Thanks
Purplehayze104
Hi Thereas far as I know I think the polarscope fits from your EQ3-2, but i'm sure someone with greater understanding will be along to confirm this, unfortunately no idea about Mac software but I think there a few here that do will point you in the right directionclear skiesjohn

Charic
......can I ask, whats the difference between NEQ and HEQ, its the letters N & H I'm trying to fathom? I think H is for 'HEAVY' maybe!
brantuk
"H" is the heavy duty EQ5. The NEQ6 had an older version - I believe the "N" was the "n"ewer upgraded version at the time - it had Synscan added and a few other bits like weight bar extension and upgraded power plug etc.
