I haven't been out for ages, it was a month since I last used a telescope. Guess I'm still in 'summer mode'. I'll snap out of it once the temp drops and it becomes even more cloudy...

We've had so many lousy nights here that I'm seriously doubting the wisdom of spending much money on astronomy, especially in London where even if it *is* clear the LP wipes out anything interesting. Assuming the contrails don't do the job   I think my purchasing will be limited to odd-and-ends to make what little I can do a bit easier.

So no Avalon M-Uno, no Mesu 200, no big triplet apo (Or even small triplet / quintuplet apo), no 8300 camera.

Maybe when I do retire to the country I'll be in a darker area and able to contemplate an expensive rig
