Hello again,

Saturn captured in LRGB 500 frames each @60 fps.

L Channel was over exsposed and Merged with the RGB composite.

It was captured with the DMK @ f10 (no barlow)

Very well done Ed. I like your presentation along with the ID of the moons. Just how do you crop out the over exposed L channel to merge with the frame with the moon. I would like to try this some day.

Hi Doug

Ther are 100 different answeres for this but here is my way.

Remove the over exsposed disk with the smart lassoo

function on your image processing software.

Draw a small box over your RGB disc - Copy and paste as

new layer where the over exposed disk used to be.

Select either ovelay, Darken or lighten as your layer mode ,whatever works best.

Then merge layers .
