Self portrait with a Perseid

(sorry for the image quality due to the reduction in file size , full image in my albums)

so my goal was to get a picture of me looking up to the sky and i wanted (hopefully) to grab a perseid in the shot too 

so i made sure the lens was near  to where they eminate 

i set my camera up with an 18mm wideangle lens 

and used a release cable and kept clicking while i was gazing up at them !

and low and behold TAKE 34 i saw a perseid flicker brightly 3 times and i knew this one was going to show up as it was SO SO BRIGHT ! 

i knew that the sensor had to have recorded this for definate in the frame !!!! 

so i stopped and waited for the rear screen to load ! AND YES I FINALLY DID IT !!!! 

i was so excited that it is still my favorite picture to date !!!

That's awesome shot, great job!  Might try and get my dog next shower, should be easy, just lays around.
