North American/Pelican mosaic

This wasn't going to be as large as this but it seems to be growing, it was going to be 2, then added 2 more, now 3 more. Not sure how much more but probably another row along the top. Whether 2hrs each panel is enough I'm not sure, we'll see.

7 panels all Ha, 2hrs each in 20 min subs, except the bottom panel which is 1hr40(cloud stopped play)

A combination of short nights, rubbish weather and work will make this a long wip.

What are you using to create the mosaic - are you aligning things manually or automagically?  Are you using standard tools like Photoshop or are specialised tools just for making Mosaics? 

(I'm interested in answers to these questions not just for Windows software but also particularly for native Mac OS X software.)

Mosaic created with the framing and mosaic wizard in SGP, and captured with SGP. 

I'm just doing a quick process each time I add a panel, a little bit of DBE in PI, and then stitched in PI too, processed with levels and curves in PS. 

I'm just starting out with PI, a bit daunting at first but I must say the gradient merge mosaic is ace.
