Wow Pete :shock: that Solarscope kit can certainly give some good looking results even through bad seeing or Transparency

Blimey, that looks a massive outburst Pete.

Not ever having seen the sun through one of these instruments, I obviously only ever see a still image.

I would assume when observing, these prominences and loops or whatever, are mobile events, and can be seen as such, is that correct. I mean, it must be real time movement, but I have no conception of the speed of change that takes place. I do know the light is 8 minutes old approx.

Nice images Pete, capturing the ever changing face of thhe sun is a challenge you rise to time after time. Thanks for posting these inspirational images to which I'm sure we all inspire.
