Saturn on 22/06/15 in not great seeing

We had a break in the clouds, for once, last night so I had a go at Saturn but the seeing was not great and the clouds quickly reappeared.

Taken with my C9.25 and ASI120MC with 2x Televue Barlow. About 2000 frames at about 26fps using Sharpcap.

This was my last go at Saturn this year.

Any comments welcomed.

Peter

That's a fine effort Peter. Seeing may have been poor but you have a good image of Saturn there. Nice colourful banding on the globe. It is far from easy and the seeing is almost inevitably rubbish at such a low altitude adding to our woes! Last night was hopelessly cloudy for me here at a decent hour - despite met. Office forecast of clear skies....much vaunted Aurora was a non starter here as well and bizarrely they seemed to be more evident further south! All very frustrating....but there is always the next time!
