How many scopes !!!

In the biking world (and believe me there are similarities with telescopes) the correct formula for the number of scopes you need is n+1

where n<d-2.

n = number of scopes you have, d=number of scopes that result in a divorce.

Diagnosis: BAD *and* SAD. Bicycle & Scope Aquisition Disorder.

Just one scope for me now, my circumstances have take a turn towards the unpredicatble so I only have exactly what I need to do the job, plus an eyepice / diagonal and some adapters which come with the scope for if i ever sell it oner i can make sure its complete as it is sold from new.
