Yes indeed although given the suspected mass of the planet its odd that they cant detect any sign of the planet even with wobble methods.

I'm not sure, but my reading of the article suggests to me that they may not be able to do so.  I think it may just be the ring system that they can detect.

If the orbital period is long, the wobble might be slight, compared to the very clear signal from the transit of the rings
