The best part of this launch is the first stage landing on a floating platform, amazing if they pull it off.

Recent events - both failures and successes like Orion - make it apparent that rockets are a spectacular, but unreliable way of getting things into space. You're either super cautious and abort often, or go for it and blow things up frequently... I know which I'd prefer if I was sitting on top!

Gravity wells - and more particularly getting out of them - are such a pain ;-)
