Not the best of conditions i.e. seeing and windy but looks like the best of the avi runs !!!

The IR image was extremely noisey for some reason ?

Good effort though Mike. Clear is better than cloudy even if the seeing isn't too great!!

Its weird how local conditions can vary so close to each other Mike. I remember recently you getting much better results than me,  on the same night. Yet on the 20th the trend seems reversed.

I never can figure the weather we have in this country, nothing is a given. That includes seeing forecasts. Compared to the night where no jet stream was forecast, the night your shots looked tighter than mine. The 20th had better seeing here despite the wind. The forecast showed a slower jet stream ?. but still a jet stream. Yet seeing was reasonable here. it was just the wind causing problems

you are not going to get fine detail in wind and poor seeing. You did as well as you could under those conditions Mike. so good effort

it will pick up a lot soon I have a feeling

Yep I agree Neil nothing in this country is a given when it comes to the weather and trying to figure out seeing conditions !!!!

looking pretty good, you can only do what the conditions let you do
