spent a few hours in my garden wednesday night as its been a while and i was quite desperate for some photon absorbing

the list of what i seen was

ngc 2683 first for me

m44 always nice lovely in the 13e

m1 quite bright and very obvious considering the moon was still washing the sky out a bit

m42 great detail and almost 3d like first time properly in this scope and the nebula ust goes on and on

m81 and 82 not the best i have seen it but nice to see the bulges

m31

ngc 2261 i do like this and it would be great from mid wales

ngc2264

m67 lovely open cluster

m37 which was the best of the night and lovely in the 13e

ngc 2158

just managed the ring and dumbell but this was through a leafless tree in my garden but i love m27

and to finish of jupiter which was steady as a rock in my 5mm bgo and showed some great detail.

all in all a great night and im so glad i went out now, it was also a good chance to test out my sips heater which worked a treat
