Ready for first light 16inch lightbridge

So here we go..collimated and ready.....

97% moon but hey it's got to be done...

Mirrors now fully assessed...

Perhaps 10 tiny holes in secondary...a scattering of holes in the main but very usable...re-coat next summer I think...

Look at that clear blue sky!

Nice one Mark, good luck with those skies for your 1st light. Oh and remember to use very dense filters with that scope on the moon, 16 inches is gonna be bright :-)

Stars look sharp...gamma andromeda is lovely....boy coma....need a parcor...

And a handle to move it from galaxy to galaxy....Nice focuser...smooooth....this finder is pretty good and its got illuminated cross hairs...

Had a quick peek at M81/2 and few other...Got down to mag 14 stars so all seems to be good...now that big glowing thing is rising...

I will report back when I get a dark long night!
