Very cool sight last night

I was standing outside in the cold yesterday evening, as you do, watching the thin crescent moon. Slowly a big hard lump of cloud was drifting very slowly towards it. You basket, I thought, one little black as coal cloud and it decides to park on the moon blocking the lovely sight. As I was verbally abusing the cloud under my breath, it slid slowly across the moon until it blocked just the sliver. The earthshine stood out like the mutts nuts would if fixed to a cat. The sight was totally gobsmacking.

Thanks KK, glad you got a nice view. We always think of clouds as the eternal enemy but it's nice to know that there's a few friends out there.
