Why not check out the Tele-optic mini-giro. Really good mount. Sturdy and light.

Tried the mini gyro. Very sensitive to balancing but otherwise works pretty well.

As I see from your signature, you use 1.25 inch eyepieces so there will be no balancing issues.

A bit heavy though and I replaced it with a DSV-M from Desert Sky Astro.

I don't need my mini gyro any more so if you are interested just PM me.
