Here's a link to a very basic article, which helped me to get a quick overview on how to shoot the dark skies with an "everyday camera".

Well worth a 5 minutes read if you are just starting.

Hello Tim,

Just continuing the welcoming. To SGL and the astro community. I see you've already met a few of us already. We're like the masons really. We get in to every nook and cranny of society, you just don't know it  :grin:
