Spell checker!

Untill recently, it was a simple matter of being able to correct text and spelling errors. but I've noticed that for several Days , it's not working for me. any suggestions please. i can't see that I have disabled anything?

Notepad if I'm typing alot of text, or just directly in the reply box!

What browser are you using?

I use IE, but the spell checker almost never works.

However it does work when using FF.

IE9 Win7 x64 Ultimate - Spell checker add-on Speckie  works in other  webpage  text entry boxes but not in this edit pane on the forum

Thanks.........your mention of the search engine  prompted me to check languages in Chrome. The spell checker was un-ticked? Its all working again.

Adjust spell-checker settings

This section below is applicable to Windows, Chrome OS and Linux only

If you display Chrome in only one language, spell-check is turned on automatically for that language. If you use more than one language in Chrome you can choose which language to use for spell-checking.

Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.

Select Settings.

Click Show advanced settings.

In the "Languages" section, click Languages and input settings.

Tick Enable spell checking.

Probably a M'Soft update, one recently disabled Chrome altogether.
