a bit of sun 6-8

First off 2 halves of the sun as I cannot get it to stitch into full disc.

I have bought a focal reducer to cut the number of frames needed to get the whole disc (well it would be if I could join it up)

3 panes in each image 50 frames to each panel stacked in AS2 and tortured in PS

Frankie met his new best friend today a double stack unit(on loan I am very lucky)

it was a bit heath robinson as it was hand held and adjustments where at arms length (eyes as well for focusing)

thanks

Those are excellent Steve, I like the close ups does that mean youve sussed the issues with the scope?

No I'm afraid not Phil

These are super :) :) :)

I think perhaps there isn't enough overlap to get the two half together but you could do it manually instead ;)

Alexandra

Thanks Alexandra

thought I had enough overlap and not while I'm so tired :drunken_smilie:  I'm likely to put them back to back

Super work, Steve :) I love that new AR.

I haven't done much stitching and have done it by hand so far, no idea on that.

Which reducer are you using, it seems to be working a treat?

Cheapo brightstar

need to fashion a better way of holding it

perhaps the lathe will be fired up a little later
