spent around an hour this afternoon imaging this prom, it incredible to see it changing so quickly.

the usual set up Coronado PST/DMK21 2,000 frames and stacked around 500 per image, taken every 15 minutes. the seeing conditions were not too bad for the afternoon, considering it was nearly 80 degrees in the obsy.

Lovely capture, well done. What tools did you use for processing CS%, Registax? Did you do any wavelets etc? Try putting a black disk over the sun, it will let you see the prom better - makes it stand out more. Well done tho, keep up the good work.

Fantastic Pete.  A superb detached prom.

My mount topped out today, which means the sun was so high, the scope hit the base of the mount.  It only happens at mid summer and when on holiday in Spain.
