I have often wondered that if life did exist on Mars, would they send space craft to Earth to serach for intelligent life.

I agree the number of earth like planets out there must be vast. I'm just unclear how likely or not it is that life could have started on one of them "by chance" [again]. But i suspect we are not alone.

It may be, that we are mere bugs, in the grand scheme of things.
