Very nice shot ...

Superb seeing here but a real struggle to capture ... Mount decided to play up , no display on the handset ...  :embarassed: ... good job I didn't get that camera yesterday ... !

Switched to the EQ3-2 right sharpish but close-ups are a struggle with it ...  :p ... time will tell when the processing starts .

Top shot David, just caught a few frames myself but the camera battery died on me. Still got 40ish frames to use though.

It's nice to see activity ramping up again.

Mak 180 on an EQ3-2

Having issues myself this morning. Trying to stack the data I took with the new camera but Registax keeps giving me an access violation on my laptop  Spent so much time restarting / reinstalling etc that it's clouded over now. Worked fine last night! Remember now why I dislike Windoze.

After some issues with my laptop I have now been able to process one of the first avi's from the QHY5. Shot 200 frames through the PST on my shaky old SL80 mount with the wind blowing and trying to track manually! I have a dovetail on order from FLO which will allow me to connect the PST to my CG-4 when it arrives. Stability will take a big jump when this happens.

If anyone knows of some good processing tutorials I would be most grateful.

This one is just 22 frames from those 200, processed in PIPP and then very little done in GIMP2.6 (Curves and Levels). I am not good at colouring these so left as mono until I have learnt some more!

Hope to get some more this afternoon but there is quite a bit of cloud around here now.
