this is my first attempt at taking a picture at saturn (and also the first time ive seen it) it is a single shot non stacked etc using a mobile to quickly snap the shot so not very good quality but im still proud of it all the same

Definitely Saturn.

You never actually believe that you will see the rings. Then - Wham! There they are, clear and unmistakable. And the lovely thing is that the longer you look, the more you see.

I feel your excitment. I remember seeing Saturn for the first time years ago and what a powerful experience it was. Sadly I didn't know how to take pics. Well done on your first capture!

I'm doing it the same way you are and I haven't been able to image Saturn yet.   

Keep it up, it only gets better from here!
