Full Moon! (Ok 99.9%)

Hello,

I took this image of the Full moon last night. Turned out to be a lot of effort but I am very pleased with the result.

It is a 16 pane mosaic, each pane a stack of 500 frames from 2000.

Taken with the ASI120MM unfiltered at prime focus of my 200p f/5.

I ran it with no gain whatsoever and this camera really is a gem. The stacks were so nice and noise free.

All comments, and criticism really appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Looks superb. Your hard work certainly paid off. Was hoping you could give more info about what you've said. Does the above mean for each of the 16 panes you took 2000 photos and used 500 from each set. Apologies if this seems like an obvious question, completely new this and know less about photography than I do astronomy.

Lovely image. :)

I wish I could zoom in though, flickr makes it really hard, didn't find a way to download the original. I love zooming in on mosaics and seeing all the close-up details captured.

btw did you use a barlow for the individual panes? If so which barlow? I'm very interested myself in doing similar high detailed mosaics some time in the future.
