That looks a smart piece of 'kit' Barry.

I'll be interested to hear how you find it, in comparison with the Meade version, that you had on the 10" LX200 GPS.

Is it a 'stepper Motor' ?, as if so, it would work very nicely with Focus Max.

Dave, yes, via hand controller or 'James Lacy' PC interface.

Designed to work with just such a software program.

The great thing is the Focuser has a 3.25" flange, so fits directly onto the OTA without any adapter. Plus, any focal reducer screws inside the focuser, moving with it.

Sorry Kevin, missed your post. It's no problem on the LX200R monted on the G11 but I think you might be pushing things on a fork mounted scope at the zenith.....not too sure though, might be OK.

If anyone wants me to measure the distance from OTA to the back of the camera - I will.
