BST vs TMB eyepieces

Looking at these on the Sky's the limit shop and I'm trying to see what the practical difference is. Has anyone tried both of these and can say what the practical difference is?

The BST Starguider is the better.

Bought both at 1mm difference and the BST outperforms the TMB.

Also ask Alan at StL, he will say the same.

The BST's are finished nicer too. They are better in every way.

I purchased a TMB PII 6mm, but did not like the smaller AFOV so returned the lens in favour of the 6mm BST Starguider. The Starguiders work well for my old eyes!

I am very happy with my 6mm BST.

I've used both. The tmb clones I found to be actually ok. I used a 6 and 5 mm In a f/6 dob.

Decent eye relief and reasonably wide fov.

Slightly less than the bst. , but I found them to be good for the price .

I prefer the BST StarGuider, but ask Alan and he will let you try both, then return the one you don't want.

Isn't the eye relief of TMB planetary EPs longer (16mm vs 12mm)?

I'd like to think BST's 13mm ER is wrong, it should be 16mm, same the TS HR's 16mm, longer than MV20mm's 15mm, but shorter than 31mm Baader ashperic's 17mm.
