SteelRat
We dragged the Tal1STL(t) out last night. Clear night  Pretty windy at times but at least there was a decent gap in the clouds. Got wrapped up in my warm gear and had a really nice night. I hope you folks had a chance to get out too.Right then... tiny planets eh? Phone pics of course Got one of Mars at mag x161, and this morning I got one of Saturn. I was pushin the mag with Saturn but can't remember if it was the x3 or x4 barlow with the 10mm PL (should've written it down I know ) so it was either at mag x242 or x322. I think it was the x4 but x322 seems abit much don't it? Handheld? Not quite this time. Had a lacky band from the top of the phone to the red dot while I held the bottom of the phone. Had the shutter on 5 second timer. Did the trick but - what a complete faff! Ah well... here's the Tiny Planets;Brought the lappy with it's nice new screen outside for a test run earlier on - with my webcam that I'm glad I didn't sell. Got my second ever toucam image! Like the first one of Saturn last season; it ain't good but I'll stick it in the planetary section in a mo anyhoo CheersMatthew(SR)
