First light from new observatory

Well, noticed a bit of clear sky so had a play for an hour or so with the new remote controlled observatory.

Came up with this:

Congratulations on the new obsy and a great start with a very nice image well done

I even managed to take that shot as it crossed the meridian - and my kit did an automated meridian flip then plate solved, adjusted position and continued the imaging run.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be tonight though. Lovely evening for it, but much colder today than yesterday. My (replacement) dome controller has started acting up like the previous one. Looks like it needs some attention and that it might be another one with a dodgy temperature sensitive microcontroller.
