Acronyms!! Help!

Hello!

I just joined SGL a couple of days ago and am seriously enjoying looking at some of the stunning photos and reading about how they're done... However I was wondering if someone would give me a brief breakdown of some of the most common acronyms used for astronomy? Just to give me a bit more ease of read and help me pick things up better! Thank you!

Clears skies everyone,

Jessica
