When FLO was launched seven years ago it was only me and I had spent every penny I had on stock so my only option was to draw a logo myself on the desktop. It wasn't a good logo but it doesn't appear to have held us back

I thought your original logo was fine Steve   I agree though that the new one is better.  Both I think are good examples of logos - simple and memorable   You don't want exactly correct images - just symbolic - simple is best, and colourful.  That's my opinion
