White Light - 29th Aug 2013

Here is a full disc in white light, from a couple of days ago. This is my first mosaic, 4 panes merged in Photoshop. I initially tried ICE but for some reason it only want to merge 3 of the 4 images.

That is very nice indeed! Perfect focus and exposure - well done.

Glad you could get PS to make your mosaic - I always have trouble with WL solar image mosaics as there is so little contrast difference across the disc.

Absolutely beautiful work Photoshop is definitely the way to go if you have trouble with a panel just use the interactive button rather than the automatic.

After trying a couple of options it worked very easily. Although I think that might have been beginners luck. My second mosaic attempt did not go too smoothly!
