Couple of lunar shots

Hello,

Just a couple of lunar shots I processed yesterday.

The first one is a picture of aristarchus taken one morning when the gorgeous waning crescent was rising.

Unfortunately the data really wasn't good, seeing terrible and for some reason a lot of hot pixels and noise...not sure my gain was any higher than normal. Havent had that problem since anyhow.

I took this pic of the waning crescent with my dslr that morning also.

Then this picture of endymion and surrounding area taken the other night. The data on this one was gorgeous, got lots of frames and with the IR pass filter the already good seeing seemed to almost freeze. Over processed it though, but my first time getting this section so happy to leave room for improvement  (my excuse)

Whilst my little firefly does handle the moon and IR pass filter really well I feel like I need a better camera to improve now, got my eye on the asi120mm, hopefully its IR sensitivity is decent :p

Thanks,

Dan

EDIT: I tried to attach the flickr images properly using the image symbol then entering the url but it came up with an error so sorry for the links
