Orion neb from Monday

This was a single shot - 30 seconds at ISO 1000 through the C8. Lovely seeing so for one frame I was pleased with the detail.

Nice to see the Trapezium Zeff. The whole nebula I liken to a soaring Eagle, you can make out the feathers under the right wing as you look at it. That's just my interpretation of this particular exposure. Any longer, and the whole image would have changed in appearance.

This is a nice capture of the Trapezium area with four quite distinct stars and good colour balance.
