New potential Supernova in NGC4414

Here's my attempt at the potential new supernova in ngc 4414. 9x60s C8 with hyperstar (f2) and an atik460c camera. Not exactly the optimal tool for the job! but what I have set up at the moment :-)

I'd be grateful for people's views on whether I've got it right!

Great find! Definitely some transient, most likely a supernova. It is listed here

http://www.rochesterastronomy.org/supernova.html#PSNJ12262933+3113383

as mag 14.0 at the moment. I might be able to have a look later this week if it brightens

Beautifully right, well done, nice one.

I must admit that at first I could not match up any of the field stars with the other image,

then I did a vertical flip and they were all there, spot on.

After a little rotate and scale I did a blink which shows they align, and shows just how much more of 4414 you have captured !
