White light Sun, 5th June

A lovely morning this morning, so I was out setting up straight after the kids left for school and was ready for the Sun to make it over the roof of the house. Seeing didn't seem as great as it has been recently, but enough to complain about.

120 frames of 1/1000th @ ISO100, 450D & 127 Mak, preprocessed with PIPP and 49 stacked in Registax v6.

Nice image. Quite quiet in terms of ARs, but some interesting fields of faculae that might herald new ones on the eastern limb.

Lots of blue sky this morning, but a little cloud this afternoon according to the forecast. But the five-day forecast shows sunny days right up to the end of the weekend at the moment. And clear nights too. I've already been up until stupid o'clock for the last three or four nights. I'm starting to struggle a bit
