Red Dot Finder pedestal

Hi chaps,

I'm spending an extraordinary time on this, searching the internet and visiting shops to no avail. I'm trying to find a replacement pedestal for my red dot finder. I accidentally bought the wrong one, and I just need the pedestal, not the whole thing.

The red dot finder I have looks like this:

...but I need to fit it into the shoe on my scope which looks like this:

Is there somewhere I can get just the pedestal, or even an adapter?

I was also looking for a RDF pedestal to fit into my standard skywatcher finder bracket. This is the only one that I have found and that link was provided by another member on the forum. http://www.opticstar.com/Run/Astronomy/Astro-Accessories-Telescopes-Ascension.asp?p=0_10_5_1_1_57

Looks ok but I did not fancy paying £11.99 + £6 postage so I am still without the pedestal.

Cannot work out what you specifically need but is this along the right line ?

They seem to have finders that match yours so you could rinfg and ask about a base for which ever appears to be an exact match.

Can I make a suggestion?

I had the same on one of my scopes and I took the foot off the scope and fixed the finder directly to the scope.
