White light Sun, 15th May

After a fairly miserable morning the weather improved to give a few not incredibly large breaks in the cloud, but my desperation to be imaging the Sun rather than imagining the Sun meant I got out and after faffing about for a fair while between clouds captured about 180 frames varying from bright image to totally black. The seeing was much better than I expected for early afternoon, so I'm fairly pleased with the result.

A few crops of the main ARs:

180 frames of 1/1000th @ ISO100, 450D/127 Mak, preprocessed with PIPP, 150 imported into Registax v6 and 51 stacked at a quality level of about 98%.
