1st trial to the sun

Hi

Received baader solar film today and took my 1 st video (canon eos on skymax 102) and got below through registax.... I was so exited i even did not take time to go outside and took this through my window from indoor, at 7 pm

Quite happy with this 1 st shot.

Any advice welcome on avi length appreciated

Nice capture, I think it has been sharpened a bit too much. A bit less wavelet processing might be better

Yes, hang back a lot on the wavelets, as soon as you see the merest hint of a ring stop. The limb should be dark too, so no ringing on that as well.

Hi!

Thanks for the tips and recommandation. Below a 2sd trial. This time, I did not take avi but simply frames (ISO100, 1/600). About 50 stacked in registax. Seeing was not that good, pretty windy today (10-12 m/s)
